Hips Don't Lie {A Sacral Chakra Workshop w/ Yoga & Bellydancing}

Join us for a deep dive into the Sacral chakra!! This chakra holds the keys to our femininity, our sexuality, and creativity… our emotional balance is found here as well as our ability to embrace change and go with the flow. When the second chakra is imbalanced you may feel overly sensitive, irritable, or emotionally unsupported…you may lack creativity, or just feel generally “stuck”. Sacral chakra imbalances can also show up in our relationships, and our ability to be vulnerable and connect with others. BUT never fear…there are great tools for balancing this energy center, and yoga and bellydancing is just what the Doctor ordered!!

We will kick off the day with a yoga practice designed specifically to enliven the SACRAL chakra. Lori will guide us in a gentle flow that is suitable for those brand new to yoga, as well as more practiced yogis. Come one, come all!

Following our yoga practice, DeAnn Bodey, will introduce us to some of the most basic bellydancing moves, so that we can then pull them together in a fun dance sequence. This is a great opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Bellydancing is an ancient middle eastern dance that works the torso and hips so prepare to say hello to your core in a new way and have fun at the same time! Everyone will also get to take home their bellydancing hip scarves as a souvenir from our day spent together.

A delicious lunch will follow our yoga and bellydancing instruction, as well as plenty of time for porch hangs. As always the ranch is BYOB.
